Indirect Hypnosis combined with Ericksonian Psychotherapy and NLP is recognised as one of the most effective and rapid ways of helping patients achieve desired change in their behaviour and lives. This unique approach was developed by the BHRTI from the work of Milton H Erickson, an American Psychiatrist recognised as the world’s leading authority on hypnosis and innovative psychotherapy. Because of the BHRTI’s outstanding contribution to the field, few courses today can offer the same degree of expertise regarding Erickson’s work. Throughout the training, we constantly place emphasis on the ethical and practical application of the skills. This is not only a theoretical course, this is a hands-on course designed to teach effective practical skills that you can apply in an immediate and powerful way to help clients and patients.
Your Trainer – Jos van Boxtel
When we first contacted Milton Erickson in the 1970’s, we did so with the belief that if Erickson could achieve extraordinary results with clients then it could be learnt and taught to others. This assumption gave us the confidence to emulate everything that Erickson did, and apply Erickson’s remarkable skills as a benchmark for the students on our courses.
We have trained thousands of hypnotherapists to use Erickson’s skills and technique and our Master Practitioner gives you the unique opportunity to learn advanced skills and techniques of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy with your trainer Jos van Boxtel.
Jos Van Boxtel is a hypnotherapist with an established practice in Utrecht in the Netherlands. He has considerable experience of applying EricksonianHypnosis, NLP, EMDR, Neurosemantics and Solution Focused Therapy with a wide range of problems with over 1000 clients. He holds qualifications at Master Practitioner level in hypnotherapy and NLP.
BHRTI founder Stephen Brooks originally the format for this course and is recognised as one of the most important contributors to the field of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, both as a teacher and therapist. Jos van Boxtel has modeled Stephen Brooks’ Ericksonian work in considerable depth and is a leading authority on Stephen Brooks approach to Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. Jos is also author of the first of a series of Ericksonian Guides. The first book specialises in Stephen Brooks’ Ericksonian approach to Phobias and is called ‘Stephen Brooks and the Art of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy – Phobias.’
The course syllabus is drawn from the extensive BHRTI Curriculum. The Master Practitioner course teaches the more complex and advanced skills and techniques from this curriculum.
